Capsule is a menstrual cycle tracking app. We take your personal data protection seriously.

1. What Data We Collect

• Account data: email address, nickname (optional)
• Health data: period dates, symptoms, mood, energy levels
• Medication data: vitamin/medication names and schedules
• Technical data: device type, OS version (for crash reporting only)

2. How We Use Data

• Core app features: cycle tracking, predictions, statistics
• AI-powered tips based on symptoms and cycle phase
• Data sync between devices (with registration)

3. AI Features and Anthropic

AI tips use Claude AI by Anthropic (anthropic.com). The following data is sent to Anthropic servers solely for response generation:

• Current cycle phase and day
• Logged symptoms (pain, mood, energy, digestion)

No personal data (name, email, device ID) is ever sent to Anthropic.

Anthropic operates in Zero Data Retention mode: your data is not stored on AI servers, not used for model training, and not used for tracking or advertising.

4. Data Storage

Data is stored locally on your device. With registration, data is also stored on Supabase servers with end-to-end encryption (TLS 1.3).

5. Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We use the following services:

• Anthropic — AI response generation (Zero Data Retention)
• Supabase — cloud data storage and authentication
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple — App Store payments

6. Security

HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transfers. Face ID / Touch ID support for app lock. No advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.

7. Your Rights

• Export your data anytime (PDF, JSON)
• Delete your account and all data completely
• Revoke AI consent at any time
• Use the app without registration (local-only mode)
